The studio
Named after a cat, run like a workshop
minkaStudio is an independent software studio on Florida's Gulf Coast, between Sarasota and Tampa Bay. It is named after Minka, the workshop cat - the one prowling the logo above, and occasionally the bottom of this page.
The studio was founded in 2026 by Juris Vecvanags, a software architect who has been shipping software for over thirty years, and it exists to build the kind of apps we want on every device we own: calm, useful, and quiet about your data.
The plan is deliberately small. We finish one product at a time - made carefully, sold honestly, and supported like we mean it. No growth hacks, no engagement traps, no investors to impress - just good tools that earn their keep.

What you do in our apps is your business. Data stays on your device or in your own accounts - never sold, never shared, never mined.

No ads, ever
The free tier is generous and carries zero ads. No ad SDKs, no attribution trackers, no exceptions. The word "ever" is doing real work here. The only pitch is our own bench, on our own pages.
